ChessMovio is designed with your privacy in mind. Here is how we handle your data.

Data Storage

All your chess data — games, annotations, opening trees, and training progress — is stored locally on your device. If you enable CloudKit sync, your data is synced through your personal iCloud account and is not accessible to us.

Third-Party Services

If you connect your Lichess account, ChessMovio communicates directly with the Lichess API to import your studies and games. No data is sent to any other third party.

Analytics

ChessMovio does not collect personal analytics or tracking data. Crash reports may be collected through Apple's standard crash reporting framework to help us fix bugs.
