To help us answer quickly, say which product you are using (the website, the training board, the ChessMovio app in ChatGPT, or the Mac or iOS app), your username, and what you did just before the problem. A screenshot helps. Never send your password.

The ChessMovio app in ChatGPT

Starting

Open ChessMovio from the apps in ChatGPT, or type “Start ChessMovio” in a chat. The first time, ChatGPT asks you to sign in with your ChessMovio training account, or to create one, and to approve its permissions. The training board then opens. You can train with the board's own controls, or use “Ask the coach” to ask ChatGPT about the current position.

Nothing to train, or an activity is missing

Each activity uses material from your own account. Puzzles, card decks, decision training and skill check-ins are available to every account. Mistake replay needs an analysed game of yours, and the opening walk needs openings you have added. You can add openings on the board with “Add my openings”.

“This account does not have chess access”

The ChatGPT app works with training accounts. Write to us with your username and we will check it.

The connection stopped working

Disconnect ChessMovio in your ChatGPT settings, connect it again and sign in. Your training progress is kept in your account, so you continue where you left off.

Disconnecting

Remove ChessMovio from the apps in your ChatGPT settings, or use “Disconnect ChatGPT” on the account page, which also ends the connection on our side.

Your data

Delete your training account and everything in it on the account page. To get a copy of your data, email us from the address on the account. The privacy policy explains what we store and why.
