Terms of use
These terms apply to the website at chessmovio.com, the ChessMovio training board and the ChessMovio app in ChatGPT. By using them you agree to these terms.
Last updated: 8 October 2026.
Your account
You can create a training account when you first connect ChatGPT. Give a real email address so we can help you with the account. An account is for one person. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done with it.
Using ChessMovio
ChessMovio is for your own chess study. Please do not:
- copy, resell or republish the training material, or collect it with automated tools;
- try to get around access controls or reach other people's accounts or data;
- overload, disrupt or probe the service, or reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows;
- upload anything you have no right to share, or anything unlawful.
Training material and feedback
Explanations, cards, drills and feedback are partly written by AI and checked by engines and people. They can still contain mistakes. Engine evaluations are estimates. Use your own judgement, especially before tournament games.
Your files and games
Games, opening files and notes you add stay yours. You let us store and process them only to provide ChessMovio to you, for example to analyse your games and build your training. You can ask us to delete them at any time; see the privacy policy.
The ChessMovio app in ChatGPT
The ChatGPT app connects your ChessMovio account to ChatGPT, which is run by OpenAI under its own terms and policies. Feedback and coaching in ChatGPT are written by ChatGPT from the training data that ChessMovio provides. You can disconnect the app in your ChatGPT settings at any time.
Changes and availability
We keep improving ChessMovio, so features can change, move or stop. We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, where reasonable, tell you in the app or by email.
Ending your use
You can stop using ChessMovio and delete your training account at any time on the account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
Liability
ChessMovio is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for results of games or decisions based on the training material. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
